Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
Your support is vital – if you’re considering donating, we’re often running low on sponge puddings, cold meats, long-life fruit juice, and household / toiletries such as washing up liquid and shampoo / conditioner. Thank you!
We cannot accept fresh or frozen food but all tins and packets are fine

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Once a year we have a special food collection at Tesco in Burscough. Tesco top up your food donations on this day with money for the foodbank. So please look out for us there.
Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever they are in the North West of England.
