Once again, the volunteers at Ormskirk Foodbank would like to thank all those members of the community who donated so generously this Christmas.Beginning in late November, we had a tremendous response to our collection at Tesco in Burscough. This was followed by numerous donations from local schools, churches, workplaces, the University and very many private individuals who came to New Church House with bags full of carefully chosen items.During December alone we prepared food parcels for around 70 clients, many of those representing families with children. Due to your generosity we were able to provide seasonal extras and gifts for both adults and children. From all our clients, and from the volunteers, a huge “Thank you” to our caring community.Ormskirk Foodbank is open at New Church House on Tuesdays & Fridays from 11am – 2pm.
