M&S ‘Charity of the Year’ donation

21st August 2016

Stephen Sloane, a store manager from Marks and Spencers, presented  a check for £819.79  to Pete Chalk for the Ormskirk Foodbank. The foodbank was Marks and Spencers’ “Charity of the Year”.

The money was raised by boxes on the tills and staff initiatives such as tombolas, quiz nights, etc.

We also received about £560 from the bag pack that volunteers from the Foodbank did on Valentine’s Day last year which makes a total of  £ 1,379.70.

A big thank you to M&S. Without donations, many of which come from individuals, the foodbank could not exist.
